What a Cutie Pie New Infant Gift Basket for Boys or Girls(Blue)

Question by Sasha: A nice, useful child shower gift?
I have been buddies with this girl for about 8 years now. We lost touch there for about a year and half, and had been just not too long ago re-united. Her husband lost his job, and literally all they have for this baby is a vehicle seat. Literally. I cannot afford to spend a single hundred dollars or anything at all. I was taking into consideration producing a “gift basket” for her. But, instead of a basket, either a diaper bag, or bathtub. But, my problem is I don’t know what to put in there. She’s going to get a ton of clothes, I’m confident.. So I would like to steer clear of that.. Any ideas would help alot!

yeah a child bath would be excellent – with like infant shampoo, diaper cream, nappies, infant washcloth, perhaps a hooded towel and some infant nail scissors, baby hair brush or some thing! and also cotton wool or infant wipes… i consider this would be appreciated and doesnt have to cost a lot!

A baby medical kit. Infant Tylenol, gas drops, mucus bulb, fingernail clippers etc. Also wash cloths, baby towels a few toys, a nice soft blanket.

I got a picture package at my shower and thought it was the best gift ever. I never would have thought of giving a picture package as a gift but it will help me remember my young baby forever. Plus we now have our first family pictures and they were free for us. What a great gift!

I would give her the basics. When I had my first people didnt know what to get us so they stuck with the basics. Diapers, wipes, shampoo, baby powder, baby wash, burpcloths, diaper rash cream, teething gel, stuff like. And believe me, that stuff was greatly appreciated. It kept us from having to buy so much ourselves and I didn’t mind, I actually wanted the diaper and wipes, and other stuff. At my next baby shower, I hope I get the diapers and wipes, all the basics because you can never have enough.
